The Family Caregiver Resource Center (FCRC) provides information and assistance to persons of all ages caring for individuals over 60 years of age and grandparents or other relatives over 55 years raising children. FCRC helps these individuals gain access to services, counseling, consultation and support services including: scheduled caregiver support groups and caregiver training and education sessions. Occasionally, FCRC provides assistance to those grandparents or other relatives under 55 years raising children through collaboration with East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging and a grant through the Illinois Department on Aging.

  • Individual counseling, support groups, and caregiver training
  • Respite care to enable caregivers to be temporarily relieved from their caregiving responsibilities
  • Supplemental services, on a limited basis, to complement the care provided by caregivers
